Skate the Lake August 14

 

Skate the Lake August 14Inspired and frustrated by their mothers' battle with breast cancer, two North Lake Tahoe locals had to do something.

Combining their love of skateboarding and their families, Skate the Lake, a 27-mile skateboard relay along the North Lake Tahoe bike path was born. 

Five years later the relay to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer is still going strong, along with their moms.  Skate the Lake August 14, 2010. Read more.
